1-2 - 18th Annual Autumn Craft Festival at the Lake, held at Mill Falls Marketplace in Meredith, juried artisans, culinary delights, craft demonstrations, and gorgeous fall foliage.




4 - Meredith Historical Society presents "Meredith and Center Harbor-A Shared History" by Dan Heyduk, 7 be held at the Main Street Museum in Meredith.

6 - Squam Lakes Natural Science Center - Invasive Species Removal Work Day - 9:30 - 11:30 am,  with Master Gardener Liz Stevens. For adults, no charge to attend, but registration is required.

9 - Squam Lakes Natural Science Center - 50 Nature Activities Series: Investigating Autumn II - 10:00 - 11:30 am.  Activities for kids based on the book by Senior Naturalist Dave Erler.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  cost: $5 per member child, $7 per non member child.

12 - Squam Lakes Natural Science Center - Nature Play Time - 10:00 to 11:00 am.  For children ages 3 and under.  Outdoor activities.  Cost - $5 per member child, $7 per non-member child.

15 - Squam Lakes Natural Science Center - Halloween Hoot 'N Howl - 6:00 to 8:30 pm Visitors will enjoy an eerily entertaining guided tour of the science center grounds, featuring live skits with a seasonal theme.  Come in costume, dressed suitably for outdoor weather.  After the tour, enjoy halloween games and tasty treats.  Reservations are required by calling  603-968-7194 x7
